Arizona State Fair!

Nate FINALLY had a free day to hang out with us.
It was his very first saturday since school started that he didn't spend all day studying his little brain off!

It was a fun family day spent at the Arizona State Fair.
The Fair was huge. I have never been to anything like that before!
They had a ski lift throughout the fair so you could take a little ride across the park.

They had more rides than Lagoon and more food booths full of deep fried anything you could imagine!
Nate was tempted to buy a "deep fried snickers bar covered in ice cream and chocolate covered bacon bits".... the person who made up that little invention wants someone to have a heart attack!

We didn't even walk half of it and we were there for a good 4 hours.
It was fun and a new little adventure for us.

They had a free petting zoo. That was Lexi's favorite part by far.
We ended up visiting the animals twice throughout the time we were there.
They were so friendly to her. She loved them and hugged, fed and waved hi to them for a good 30 min.

She cracks us up!
"HI GOATS!"

I forgot to bring my camera along :( but did manage to take a few on my phone.

Petting the goats!

This picture makes me laugh so hard.
See Lexi's arms in this one?
She couldn't stop from dancing to the music. She had her arms waving and head bobbing the whole time as we walked the fair!

LONG row of food booths...
They even had fried alligator meat :( eeww...

Nate and his fried pickle on a stick!

SO very thankful for some family time.
It was much needed.

Hope you are all having a good weekend!
:)
