Utah!

Where do I begin? We spent 6 FULL weeks in Utah and did so many fun thing. It was such an awesome trip! I think I might have to escape the AZ summer heat each year and spend some fun relaxing time in Utah. Lexi was in heaven and still talks about how much fun she had and all the people she misses!

Nate wasn't able to go to Utah with us. He stayed back in AZ to study for his big MCAT test.  I am going to brag about my man for a moment. He is amazing and works so dang hard. He spent 15 plus hours a day studying! He amazes me and I am so proud of the hard work he puts in to better our future. All of this hard work WILL pay off. Plus he does it all with a smile and I never hear him complain. He is my hero for sure. I love him and missed his SO much. That was the longest we had ever been apart and it was rough. The kids missed him I missed him and phone conversations were not enough! After a few emotional breakdowns... the 6 weeks were up and it was a glorious reunion!.... but first here are a few fun pictures of our Utah trip!

For the first few weeks me and the kids bounced back and forth from my parents to my sisters house. One day my sister and I got brave enough to take our kids to the Clearfield pool. 4 kids under the age of 2 was a bit HARD and crazy, but we did it and made lots of fun memories while doing it!

This was the best place for our little ones! It had an outdoor area and indoor area. Lexi loved it and ran around like a crazy woman the whole time!!

My mom, my sister and I also threw my sister in law Kelsey a baby shower. It turned out to be a lot of fun and she got some of the most adorable things.  These were a few pics of her shower!

I am sure you are all wondering if she is the one 9 months pregnant... and the answer is yes. She looked  great!

4th of JULY!!

We had such a fun 4th of July. We started off the day at my brother's in-laws house. They have a nice pool in their backyard and let us come have lunch and swim.

After swimming we headed back to my parents house to get ready got ready for a big extended family BBQ and firework show. Lexi loved running around with all of my cousins and got plenty of attention. We went on razor rides, played yard games, ate lots of yummy food, did sparklers and snaps and let off fireworks! The forth is one of my very favorite holidays!!! We all sported our red, white and blue proudly!! (the only thing missing was Nate)

 Forsyth Grandkids July 2013!

Lexi ran and ran all over my parents yard. I decided to follow her for a few minutes and was loving her little adventures she was on. She stopped and smelled flowers, did spins in her 4th of July dress and went from person to person giving them loves.

Proud grandparents :) They went from 1 grandchild to 6 in two years! It is such a blast to have all these little kids in our family.

Nixon experienced his very first 4th of July! He loved watching the fireworks and getting passed around to everyone. He is so much fun and such a happy little guy.

One of the nights visiting my sister we went to a fun nature park by her house to feed the ducks. It did not disappoint!! There were TONS of ducks. Lexi and Jax had a blast feeding them and watching them all attack to get the first piece of bread.

Visiting the Bartholomew family!

We spent a few days with Nate's family and had such a great time. Lexi loves them all so much and constantly talks about each one of them. Nanny was so nice and took Lexi to Thanksgiving Point to see all of the farm animals. We had fun saying hi to the goats. One little goat escaped from the cage and Lexi was giving it some good pets!

Lexi and her very first pony ride! Thanks to uncle Devan for walking around with her. These pictures crack me up. Her expression was the best :)

Thanks Nanny for the fun outing!!

While staying at Nate's parents we went out to lunch, visited family, played games and spent some good fun together. Nanny B let Lexi put on all of her necklaces and lipgloss. Lexi was in heaven and LOVED every second of it!

Addison K Forsyth

My brother and his wife had their sweet baby while I was in Utah. I was so happy I could meet her. She is the sweetest and more precious baby. I spent a little bit of time with them in the hospital and took these few cute pictures. She has a full head of dark black hair and is just perfect!

It was so fun and special to see my brother as a daddy for the first time. He will be so great!

Pretty depressing what 5 months can do to a baby. Why do they grow so fast??

Rice Cereal!

Nixon tried rice cereal for the first time while in Utah. He loved it and has since started baby food. He eats most fruits and veggies and can eat a whole jar in 3 min flat! He loves his food and doesn't mess around. LOVE HIM!!!
I think he could pass as the gerber baby is this photo. What do ya think?

My kids!

The kids really were so good while visiting. We were in different houses, beds and with different people ever few days. They were so flexible and happy during the whole trip. I am one lucky mama.

His chub kills me. Look at those cheeks!! I can stare at him all day... well I DO stare at him all day. I want him to be my baby forever!

 HOT TUBBIN!
My parents new hot tub is not going to waste! These kids swam in it EVERY day. It's such a fun addition to their deck. We spent lots of nights under the stars relaxing in it. They have now convinced me that I need a hot tub when I finally have a house of my own :)

Papa giving the kids drinks while swimming!

NIXON
My baby is growing out of control!!! He went from a baby to a scooting, rolling, crawling, eating, grabbing, sitting up machine. He is SO big all of the sudden. I feel like I can't keep up with him. He is strong and gets to where he wants to go. I am loving this stage and age but I really just want him to slow down. I want him to stay my baby FOREVER!!!

FORSYTH GRANDKIDS... including the new tiny addition.
Look how cute! I love all of these kids so much.

Us parents should get an award for trying to take a decent picture of these children. It is by far the hardest job on the planet to get 6 tiny kids to look, smile and not freak out while taking a picture.

More of my handsome little guy :)

Nate finally finished the MCAT and drove out to pick us up. The anticipation of his arrive was killing us all. I had butterflies for 3 days before he came. It was THE BEST reunion to see him again. I think Lexi was in shock. She couldn't believe it was him!! She was shy for about an hour just smiling and giggling at him. I LOVE him and missed him so much!

The night Nate got to Brigham we took my parents trailer up the canyon and had a lot of fun at a little camp ground. We made tinfoil dinners and smores. It was so much fun just spending some time with him. It was the first time our family had been camping together. Lexi loved it and had a blast.

The next day uncle Ryan brought up a fishing pole and let Lexi fish. They caught quite a few right at first. I thought Lexi might be scared or nervous but nope! She grabbed ahold of that fish petting it and saying hi! It was fun to see her experience catching a fish for the first time.

Well this post might be the longest I have ever done...

We had such a great time in Utah and miss everyone so much. THANK YOU to everyone for letting us stay and spending so much time with us to make it special. We made so many fun memories and experienced a lot of firsts. We love you all!!!

We have since made it back to AZ and have started to get back into the swing of things. Lexi is finally taking regular naps and got rid of the bink :) THANK GOODNESS!!!

Hope you are all having a great summer :)
