It happened.
Lexi had her first birthday.
I can't believe one year ago today I was in the hospital holding my
tiny new baby....how has it already been a year?
She has grown SO much this year. She is so much fun and has
such a sweet personality.
Everyone loves her and she loved everyone.
I am so grateful to be her mommy.
She makes us happier than we ever thought possible.
We can't explain how much we love her.

*Loves to pull up on everything and walk along things
*Has a few fake laughs
*Says hi
*Claps and waves
*Loves to rub her own lotion on her hands
*Gives her babies lots of kisses
*Brushes her hair with her brush
*Has 2 teeth
*Loves to crawl and play
*Has the sweetest personality

We started the celebration on Sunday with a big birthday party.
Friends, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents and cousins came :)
It was so much fun to get together with everyone.
We appreciate all of the love and support we get from friends and family.
we really are SO lucky to have you all in our lives!
Lexi loved the attention and was darling the whole party.
She went to everyone and gave them lots of loves.
Nanny B got her the best little gift. A swing to hang in the tree.

She got to try some birthday cake for the first time.
She loved the frosting and didn't want me to take it away.
She knew just what to do when we gave it to her...she dug right in!
This little birthday girl started to get tired at the end of the party.
She was still so sweet and took turns laying on both nanny's shoulders.

We went for a zoo day on her real birthday.
She loved looking at all of the animals.
She kept saying WOW.
The polar bear was her favorite!
When the little animals would come next to the glass she would giggle and try to pet them...
too bad she couldn't really touch them. It was so darling to watch her excitement!
After the zoo we met up with Nanny B and uncle Cam for dinner and a park visit.
I am so glad I have such an energetic husband :) he keeps us laughing!

My little brother Stephen came home from his mission on Saturday and Lexi already loves him :)
I have been waiting to introduce them for a good long year now and it's like they have always known each other!
