November and THANKSGIVING!

 Our month of November was FILLED to the max with fun. After our Disney vacation my immediate family (except Ryan and his family) came out to AZ for a visit and to spend Thanksgiving with us. We had a blast! Lexi loved having her cousin's to play with and show them around and I loved having family in town. The days went by way to fast like they always do and the week was over before we knew it! We did a lot together as a family. Hiking, shopping, swimming, movies, out to eat, and much more..but my favorite outing with the family was the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium. This zoo was so much fun and much more hands on than the regular zoo's I have visited before.

There were tons of animals and feeding exhibits. Also all of the cages were open so you could see and get really close to the animals. It was awesome! Here are a few pictures of our fun zoo outing!

These turtles were HUGE and so fun to watch.

Feeding the giraffe's! This was my favorite part of the zoo. The giraffe came so close and licked the food right out of our hands. It was awesome! 

 This tiger really was so close. I was nervous it was going to get Stephen's shirt!

THANKSGIVING 2013!

This Thanksgiving was one I will never forget. All 12 of us ate in my tiny little apartment. We cooked and made all the trimmings as well! It was so much fun to host my first Thanksgiving...even though my mom and sister helped me do everything :) I borrowed card table and chairs and lined them up in my little family room. It wasn't fancy but it was perfect because we got to spend it with family! We ate a lot and spent the day laughing, lounging and making fun memories! 

After dinner me my sister and my mom checked out the black Friday adds and hit the town! We stayed out shopping until 4am. It was fun to shop till we dropped and find some awesome deals in the process!

Cousin time!

My kiddos love there cousins. Lexi followed Jax everywhere and hugged him constantly. We took my family to one of our new favorite spots. It's called Desert Ridge. It's a big outdoor shopping center with fun live music and shops! We listened to the bands play and enjoyed a big cold stone ice cream!

World Wildlife Zoo continued...

Feeding the sting ray's! One actually bit Nate. He had a little blood on his finger...

 We got to eat lunch in a giant shark tank. It was pretty neat :)

 More petting zoo fun!

 This little goat caught Lexi's eye and she wouldn't let him go! She snuggled right up to it and gave it lots of loves. It was the cutest little thing and didn't mind one bit.

This wasn't the best description of my families visit...but at least I have pictures to prove we were together. It was a great Thanksgiving and one I will never forget.

I am blessed and am so thankful for my family!
